Recently a panel of tourism experts listed Wollombi as one of the 100 Best Towns to Visit in Australia. That wouldn't have happened if we did not have a strong community - which, of course, we have. More than 600 people saw our recent production of Little Voice, so we feel that we're doing our bit towards attracting people to this valley, and making it a great place to live.

We couldn't do it without our sponsors, so it's appropriate to say a very big thank you to those of you who support us and our community so generously. You too can enjoy the rewards of sponsorship - contact Tim Williams at Laguna Store on 4998 8244, or email info@valleyartists.org.

Our next production will be A A Milne's The Ugly Duckling, coming to a theatre near you in late October. Director Cordelia Howell will be holding auditions later this month, and there is always a need for stage crew - phone her on 4998 8110.

We'll be running workshops in connection with this production - details soon in OON.

Entries are open for our annual Short Film Festival on October 3 - your opportunity to demonstrate your skills - download an entry form from our website.

Did you know that we now produce an email newsletter - Not the Programme Notes - to keep you in touch with upcoming events, and also to entertain you with items of interest about the arts in general and the occasional competition. If you'd like to be on the email list, just email us.

Finally - a big thank you to our patrons - your reaction to Little Voice was very rewarding, and we look forward to entertaining you in our future productions.
