Every year, as a way of saying thank you to our sponsors, Valley Artists has a special dinner for them - it's one of the parties of the year. This year it's on May 8th, so if you want to be there, now would be a good time to become a sponsor.
Of course that's not sufficient reason to support us, nor should it be.
"To me, a healthy community has a robust and vibrant artistic expression," says former VA president Bob Philippe. He's spot on!
This valley is a great place to live, with a community that returns whatever you put into it with interest. It's a great place to visit - officially in the Top 100 Towns in Australia.
Valley Artists is an important part of the artistic expression that makes the valley what it is. Not only do we produce great theatre, we also provide training workshops and grants to local artists, actively involve our young people, organize the Short Film Festival, and provide sound, lighting and other equipment and support personnel for other organizations that provide services in the valley.
You can contribute to this by becoming a sponsor - packages start at only $150. You'll find that we treat our sponsors very well, and you'll know that you're making a real contribution to this community.
For further information, call Karen (4998 3361) or Fiona (4998 3339), or email sponsors@valleyartists.org. They'll give you all the details of levels of sponsorship, and what you get in return.
Our next newsletter will contain more on the subject of sponsorship. If you're not on the email list, just send an email to info@valleyartists.org, and you will be!
Don't forget David Williamson's Money and Friends, directed by Bob Philippe. Opening date is July 2, continuing on July 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at Laguna Hall. Note those dates now - this will certainly play to full houses.
Interested in becoming involved? Contact Bob on 4998 8278.
We're a volunteer organization, and we need you! You'll be in good company, and you'll enjoy the experience.
