The Rise and Rise of Valley Artists

Valley Artists Inc., now in its 12th year of delivering top shelf community theatre, recently staged a show that has raised the bar through the recent production of Jim Cartwright's ‘The Rise and Fall of Little Voice'.

Directed by Janine Oliver, the show attracted record audience numbers with a complete sell out on most nights after the opening weekend. This is unsurprising given the high standard of performances. Emma Pogonoski dazzled us with her completely honest, gorgeous, and professionally delivered role as Mari Hoff, and Jodie Bawden mesmerised the audience with her astonishing ability to mimic classic singers such as Mermann and Piaf.

We know you had to be there to fully understand this. Supporting cast of Fiona Burless, Craig Howe, Mal Goudie and Tim Goudie provided a combination of expertise and structure. As this was Craig's debut we congratulate his courage and ability and look forward to seeing more of him on the stage as well. Big thanks to all involved.

Thank you to the community for supporting us and to all our existing and new Sponsors. We could not have done this without you!
